Time flies!!
I have no idea where the last month has gone!! Feeling a sense of relief today that I have submitted 2 of my 4 AOL essays to turnitin - this was after a number of frustrating hours trying to copy and paste my illustrations into a word document! Eventually one of my students came to my rescue (they are well aware of my limited IT skills) and showed me how to use google docs to save in different formats. An absolute game changer!
The last few weeks have been a bit of a blur - so busy at the moment - show rehearsals at the studio where I teach have now begun on Sundays, and a job application a couple of weeks ago took me a while to put together and plan and caused me to fall a little behind with where I wanted to be with my studies. I've been on catch up ever since!
This week I'm giving my undivided attention (aside from work) to the module 1 reflective essay draft. Looking back over my notes since the start of the course, I realise just how much ground I've covered and that I'd already forgotten some of the thought processes/ reflections I had at the beginning. Hopefully I'll be able to get these into my essay in some coherent format!
Time management has never been my strong point and so this is really testing me and my ability to prioritise and lessen my stress levels!
Hope everyone else is doing ok? How are you finding juggling your time with everything? Any tips?!
Hi Melody,
ReplyDeleteI have to say I felt a great sense of relief after submitting my first AOL. Initially I'd written a lengthy essay, but after discussion I decided to break down the one essay into three AOLs. So now I'm focusing on my essay. Once that's done, then I'll go back and submit the other two. How you're managing to do your current workload plus MA - I take my hat off to you!! Back after a busy week adjudicating in the Isle of Wight and to top it all - just tested positive for covid - oh joy!!
